These prices are effective as of August 1, 2021, and are subject to change without notice.
Ground Burial
The following prices are for ground burial. Interment fees vary depending upon the type, day, time of day, and season. Surcharges on interments may apply due to special circumstances surrounding the interment. These surcharges are explained below.
Adult Grave Prices: $1,000.00
Adult Interment: $1,150.00 plus $150.00 Care Fund deposit if not previously paid.
Cremated Body Interment: $1,000.00 plus $150.00 Care Fund deposit if not previously paid.
Cremated Body Inurnment in Back to Nature memorial - $700.00 plus $150.00 Care Fund deposit if not previously paid.
Infant Interment: $350.00
A Care Fund deposit of $150 added to each new interment/inurnment on an easement right purchased prior to licensure under the Illinois Cemetery Care Act on February 21, 2018.
Burial Surcharges
Burial Monday through Friday after 3:30 p.m. but before 4:00 p.m.: Add $150.00
Burial on Saturday before 12 noon: Add $250.00
Saturday service entering the cemetery after 12 Noon but before 2:30 p.m.: Double the Weekday Rate*
Winter Surcharge (November 1 through March 15, annually): Add $100.00
This fee is to defray the extra costs which go along with interments performed in cold weather. These costs include, but are not limited to: cost & maintenance of ground warmers, fuel for ground warmers, fuel regulators, sand, road deicer, and equipment maintenance.
Second Interment Right**: Add $350.00
*Excludes infant interments.
**This fee is an accommodation surcharge which allows one (1) additional burial to be made in a grave that was intended for the use of one (1) interment. This is subject to review and approval of the management, and only under this supervision may a second interment occur. Purchase of a new memorial may be required as per cemetery regulations.
All ground burials must be in either concrete or suitable permanent underground outer burial containers. This regulation prevents the grave from sinking and saves the consumer the cost of unnecessary maintenance of the grave site.
Prepayment of Cemetery Merchandise and Services You may prepay for cemetery merchandise or services at Rose Lawn under the Illinois Pre-Need Cemetery Sales Act. Products such as memorials and outer burial containers and services such as interment fees and vault service charges can be paid in advance. Rose Lawn is licensed to hold pre-need funds. All pre-need funds are invested and additionally protected by the Illinois Cemetery Consumer Protection Fund.
Above-Ground Disposition of Cremated Remains
The following prices are for above-ground disposition of cremated remains. There is an additional fee for inurnment in the Resurrection and Good Shepherd Columbariums. This fee will be assessed at the time of inurnment and will be the fee that is listed on the current General Price List. Above-ground disposition is also subject to surcharges depending on the circumstances surrounding the disposition including, but not limited to, the day and time of day.

Niche Prices - $2,700.00

Use of the niche for more than 1 inurnment will require the purchase of a Second Interment Right, the cost of which can be found below.

Flush Bronze Memorials
Flush Memorials (range of prices, includes tax & foundation): $2,211.62 to $8,889.30
The price of your memorial will depend upon its size, inscription length, and style placed upon it.
A granite foundation is required for all bronze memorials. Additions to your flush memorial, such as vases, death date scrolls, and emblems will be an additional cost. Flush memorials for infants are priced lower.
